For more information, please visit www.vibrantz.com and www.american-securities.com The Quality Control Chemist is responsible for performing analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role supports manufacturing by validating product quality, investigating deviations, and maintaining accurate laboratory documentation while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with analytical laboratory techniques and instrumentation
  • Strong understanding of chemical principles, analytical methods, and lab safety practices
  • Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and troubleshoot effectively
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation and recordkeeping
  • Effective communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (LIMS experience preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of experience in a quality control or analytical laboratory
  • Experience with advanced analytical instrumentation
  • Knowledge of GMP, GLP, or ISO quality standards
  • Experience supporting audits, CAPA processes, or method validations

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical and physical testing on materials and document results, including non-conformances
  • Conduct analytical measurements using standard and instrumental techniques (e.g., thermal analysis, density, particle size)
  • Prepare reagents, standards, and calibration controls; execute method validations, verifications, and transfers
  • Analyze and interpret data, communicate out-of-specification (OOS) results, and support investigations and CAPA activities
  • Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; ensure lab organization and safety compliance
  • Maintain compliant documentation (e.g., GMP, GLP, ISO) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality and continuous improvement
