About The Position
The Quality Control Chemist will perform chemistry and microbiological laboratory testing such as pH, viscometer, UV-Vis, GC, FTIR, titration, etc. The role involves inspecting all raw materials and performing necessary quality testing to ensure everything meets the correct specifications. The chemist will conduct pre-operation, in-process, and final product testing to ensure product conformance. Collaboration with Production is essential to make necessary adjustments to batches if there are any issues or if the product is out of specification. The position also requires maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment and quality equipment, documenting all quality and lab activities, and writing up quality documentation such as Certificates of Analysis (COA's) and regulatory paperwork including FDA documentation.
