Your Role: In your role as Quality Control Chemist, you are responsible for laboratory operations, evaluating products, and providing technical support. You will perform routine or non-routine assignments to solve problems of low to moderate complexity that require working knowledge and experience in own job discipline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other Life Science discipline
  • 4+ years of quality review or laboratory work experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical test procedures accurately and independently on incoming raw materials, in-process materials and product release
  • Operate analytical equipment and software such as titration(s), spectroscopy, chromatography, and more
  • Analyze information and possible solutions to make independent judgement, recommendations, and decisions
  • Maintain complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines
  • Train personnel as appropriate and act as a technical consultant, both inside and outside the department
  • Participate in audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions to maintain a high level of quality
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in compliance with Quality Management System
  • Support general laboratory functions and routine maintenances (e.g., preparing reagents, calibrating equipment, waste disposal)
  • Communicate with relevant management and departments to ensure customer focused excellence
