Under the oversight of the Head Football Coach, position is to assist with the organization and administration of assigned components of the football program within UCF, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop / maintain strong professional relationship with assigned student-athletes (mentorship) to assist them with their personal / professional development throughout their intercollegiate football career. Includes learning about all people that are important to the individual and important dates / events / activities that could impact their personal / professional career. Actively monitor social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) of assigned football student-athletes ensuring they represent UCF and UCF Football in an appropriate manner. Develop / maintain strong professional relationship with assigned position coaches. Learn coaching styles and recruiting practices to assist assigned position coaches with all logistical support as permissible by NCAA rules and regulations, including practice / game evaluation, scouting (self, opposition, recruits, other), meeting room usage / activities, practice drills, communication, and travel needs. Develop / maintain strong professional relationship with Director of Player Personnel. Learn areas of football administration so to provide logistical support to areas of need and within NCAA rules and regulations. Includes engagement with assigned tasks associated with roster management, recruiting, scouting, etc. Develops / maintains strong industry relationships as necessary. Engagement with football practice and gameday in compliance with NCAA rules and regulations. Engagement with football activities (clinics, pro day, other) in compliance with NCAA rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned.
