About The Position

Global Impact Group LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and ISO 9001 / ISO 17100 certified provider of interpretation, translation, and staffing services. We deliver secure, high-quality language access in more than 80 languages to USCIS and other federal agencies. We are seeking Quality Control Analysts with proficiency in languages other than Spanish to support our USCIS contract. These analysts will monitor interpretation and translation deliverables, ensuring linguistic accuracy, compliance, and adherence to ISO quality standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation/Interpretation, or related field (preferred).
Fluency in English and at least one target language (Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, Haitian Creole, or other USCIS priority/rare languages).
2+ years of QA or professional linguistic experience (federal, legal, or immigration sector preferred).
Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 17100 quality management systems.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.

Responsibilities

Conduct quality reviews of interpretation and translation assignments in target languages (priority: Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, Haitian Creole, French, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Korean, Tagalog; rare languages such as Dari, Pashto, Tigrinya, Somali, Amharic).
Verify accuracy, clarity, and consistency against USCIS glossaries and terminology guides.
Audit linguist performance (OPI, VRI, ASL support, document translation).
Track Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance and report findings.
Document audit results, provide feedback, and support corrective action implementation.
Work with the QC & Security Manager to prepare reports for the COR.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends and training needs.
