As a leader in these critical areas, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards and driving initiatives that align with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Quality Assurance: Ensure our products are defect-free and meet all standards. Investigate and set benchmarks for quality, health, and safety.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Be a dynamic change agent, leading projects using lean and six sigma tools. Challenge conventional thinking and lead teams to achieve sustained improvements.
  • Mentor and Guide: Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes that are in the scope of the Quality Management System.
  • Validate new or existing complex test methods and procedures; identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Explain the local action plan to support team members in their understanding of what needs to be done.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of lean and/or six sigma strategies.
  • Identify instances of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Collate and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods, and formats.
  • Monitor the performance of the team; allocate work and review completion.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Quality team members and CI practitioners.
  • Track budgets and report variances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Quality and Continuous Improvement.
  • Certification in Lean or Six Sigma preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous management of an ISO 9001 Quality System required.
  • Ability to be open minded, adaptable, and be an influential change agent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Kaizen Leader experience preferred.
