About The Position

The Quality Compliance Auditor II works under the general direction of the Director of Compliance, and/or designee, and is responsible for executing internal audits, evaluating compliance, and supporting corrective action processes to ensure the standards required by our customers and Yulista. Responsibility includes but is not limited to statistical analysis, procedural development and review, internal and external audits, and corrective actions that impact product, process and/or services.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of AS9100 and/or AS9110 requirements and internal quality system processes
  • Ability to independently plan and conduct audits using defined audit criteria and risk-based methodologies
  • Strong skills in collecting, evaluating, and documenting objective evidence
  • Ability to assess both compliance and process effectiveness objectively
  • Knowledge of corrective action processes and effectiveness verification techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain objectivity, independence, and professionalism during audits
  • Ability to execute risk-based audit plans and contribute to planning activities
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong capability to interpret regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements and objectively assess compliance and effectiveness
  • Ability to assess process performance and identify potential risks or gaps
  • Strong root cause analysis and corrective action evaluation skills, including validation of systemic effectiveness
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and support audit team activities
  • Strong problem-solving capability in dynamic environments
  • Strong interpersonal and effectively communicate with process owners and collaborate with audit team
  • Clear, concise, and technically sound written communication skills for executive-level audit reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3–7 years of experience performing quality audits or compliance activities in an aerospace or regulated environment
  • Demonstrated ability to independently conduct internal audits within an established audit program
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and/or AS9110 standards and internal quality system requirements
  • Advanced root cause analysis and corrective action evaluation skills, including validation of systemic effectiveness
  • AS9100 and/or AS9110 Internal or Lead Auditor training

Responsibilities

  • Independently plans and conducts internal audits in accordance with the approved audit program, applicable standards, and defined audit criteria
  • Collects, evaluates, and documents objective evidence through interviews, observation, and record reviews
  • Assesses compliance with applicable AS9100/AS9110 requirements, internal procedures, and contractual obligations
  • Evaluates process implementation and effectiveness against defined criteria, identifying risks and gaps based on objective evidence.
  • Identifies recurring issues, adverse trends, and potential risks, and communicates them to leadership for further evaluation
  • Documents audit results clearly, concisely, and traceably in audit reports
  • Evaluates corrective actions for root cause adequacy and verifies effectiveness of implemented actions
  • Supports external and customer audits, as assigned
  • Identifies audit trends, repeat findings, and systemic compliance risks
  • Supports team leadership in accomplishing their duties and responsibilities
  • Executes audits across multiple processes or sites with minimal supervision
  • Applies standard audit tools, methodologies, and templates to ensure consistency in execution and reporting
  • Ensures audit documentation, objective evidence, and reporting outputs meet established quality, traceability, and compliance expectations
  • Other duties as assigned
