Requirements

  • Working toward a degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Quality), Operations Management, or related field.
  • Min. 2.5 GPA
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Interest in quality systems, process improvement, and manufacturing.
  • Basic understanding of web‑based tools or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Fountain Inn, United States
  • Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 is a plus (training will be provided).

Responsibilities

  • Support process improvement projects aimed at enhancing product and process performance.
  • Use and refine existing quality applications created by former co‑ops (e.g., data tracking systems, dashboards, workflow tools).
  • Assist with mapping current‑state processes and recommending future‑state improvements.
  • Participate in data collection, analysis, and root cause investigations.
  • Support Quality Engineers in maintaining and improving ISO 9001 documentation and standard processes.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality teams to identify gaps and propose solutions.
  • Support preparation of reports, presentations, and continuous improvement deliverables.
