The Quality Auditor Clerk located in Rensselaer, IN, is responsible for supporting customer quality requirements by monitoring and investigating Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) related to over, short, and wrong shipments. This role also creates Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for incoming non-conforming materials, maintains document control for APD/CQP, and compiles data to support quality metrics and reporting. The Quality Support Associate provides administrative and analytical support to the Quality department to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Hours of Work: • 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must meet legal minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform a range of physical activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and internet navigation.
  • Proficient in WMS and Oracle systems.
  • Experience with FormTek preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and multitask effectively.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve inventory CAPAs related to over, short, or wrong shipments.
  • Create NCRs and rework paperwork for incoming non-conforming materials.
  • Export exceptions for Interplant and Intercompany transactions and update shipping data for monthly PPM reports.
  • Maintain document control for APD and CQP.
  • Update Country of Origin in Oracle and WMS.
  • Audit first-piece inspection data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide administrative support and perform special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support Donaldson’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
