Today Toledo Tool & Die has three facilities in the Toledo area and one in Pioneer, Ohio. Toledo Tool & Die is looking for a Quality Auditor – 3rd Shift to our team to support our continued growth. Hours for this position are typically: Sunday night- Friday morning, 9:45pm-6:00am Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekends & some holidays)

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment preferred.
Familiarity with basic measurement tools and gages.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part drawings a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Able to work independently and within a team.
Basic computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine in-process inspections of parts at stamping presses using appropriate gages (e.g., calipers, micrometers, pin gages, attribute gaging, etc.).
Verify parts meet dimensional and visual standards per control plans and quality alerts.
Document inspection results accurately and communicate non-conformances to production and quality leadership.
Support the Sort Department in identifying and segregating non-conforming product.
Participate in containment activities and assist with re-inspection and rework tasks when necessary.
Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and traceability of sorted materials.
Maintain clean and organized inspection and sorting work areas.
Collaborate with press operators, quality technicians, and supervisors to promote a culture of quality.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and wear required PPE.
