About The Position

The Quality Control Auditor is responsible for verifying conformance of product to Company specifications, rejecting nonconforming product to be scrapped or approving conforming product to be shipped.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as to collaborate in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to analyze problems and determine viable solutions; solid decision making skills
• Proficient at basic math calculations
• PC skills including proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness to work with product that is dirty

Nice To Haves

• bilingual in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process QC testing and finished product audits.
• Perform incoming receiving inspection and analysis on raw materials.
• Conduct finished goods inspections at the warehouse. Inspect mulch, mat and tube products for any quality issues and report findings.
• Maintain quality documentation.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse personnel to resolve any material handling issues impacting package integrity.
• Prepare any product samples for Sales/Marketing personnel.
• Perform additional duties as required.
