About The Position

Quality Assurance Auditor will be capable of doing routine to complex quality assurance tasks. Must have excellent ability to measure and test parts to specifications, electronically record data, and initiate corrective actions as applicable.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year experience in a production/manufacturing environment is required and a Certified Quality Auditor certificate is preferred. Experience in plastic injection and/or blow molding is desired.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, some related college preferred.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions, Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office and experience with imputing data into dbases systems is a must
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Completes operational lot control procedures and forms
  • Archives quality records and logs procedures
  • Perform in-process product audits in a manufacturing environment, according to product specifications and procedures
  • Create and complete 1st article inspection reports
  • Conduct periodic process audits as requested and completes necessary documentation
  • Assist shift personnel with quality issues and/or measurement techniques.
  • Assist in problem resolution with customers as requested.
  • Must be knowledgeable with startup procedures, customer specifications, cosmetics criteria, rejection report procedures, and end of run procedures
  • Must be able to complete and close a NCMR request, the DHR procedure, the deviation procedure, how to write and stag a customer return, and how to complete pre-production approval protocols.
  • Responsible for accurate data input into databases.
  • Must have knowledge of blueprints applications and the use of measurement equipment.
