About The Position

To monitor the “in process” quality of work being produced per established audit points and pass/fail criteria. This position will record findings on a hand-held tablet as well as report any non-conformances to the area lead or the production supervisor for resolution.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years’ manufacturing experience
  • 3-4 years of quality assurance or audit background- preferred
  • Printing knowledge a plus
  • High attention for detail and focused individual
  • Written, verbal and basic math skills (arithmetic) needed
  • Has worked in fast paced environment
  • Ability to build interpersonal relationships
  • Communicate effectively across multi-functional departments
  • Intermediate Computer skills required in: Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows
  • Current history working in quality and understanding Standard Operator Procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Be adaptable to work alternate shift schedules to accommodate customer demands during peak times
  • Dependable with a track record of good attendance and punctuality
  • Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
  • The working environment is a production facility with a focus of safety and teamwork
  • The role requires standing, stooping, walking, bending, pulling, climbing, twisting and lifting materials up to 15lbs, as well as exposure to various machinery and materials

Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed quality audit intervals for all areas in manufacturing.
  • Using measurement tools and quality guidelines to assess that product being produced is within established tolerances.
  • Record findings digitally on a hand-held tablet.
  • Work closely with Production Team Members and Team Leads to review and address issues discovered during quality audits, including reporting any non-conformance immediately to area lead or production supervisor.
  • Perform daily product and process quality tests and gather metrics.
  • Perform basic analysis of daily testing results to determine if required specifications are being met.
  • Identify areas for improvement in relation to quality.
  • Maintain quality procedures and their integrity.
  • Assist in special testing projects as required for product or process development.
