2nd Shift Quality Auditor Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Follow sampling plans and standard operating procedures. Perform in-process and finished goods audits according to the Bill of Materials and established processes and procedures. Escalate the findings of these audits to Management and necessary pass down on shift and initiate/execute root cause analysis and appropriate corrective actions. Enter audit data into Audit Microsoft Access Database. Perform process audits in determining compliance to work instructions. Assists as needed in complaint investigations and special projects. Pays attention to detail and accuracy. Possesses sound reasoning and problem-solving skills. Perform testing and inspection for out-sourced products when needed. Assist in training of new auditors when necessary. Flexible to work overtime and other shift when necessary. Work with Word and Excel software in preparing reports. Punctual and dependable. Comfortable working in Warehouse/Distribution setting . Physical requirements – able to stand for long periods of time. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to perform process audits Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
