DESCRIPCIóN DE POSICIóN: Audita y valida piezas de su área de trabajo para determinar la calidad de la producción diaria. Realizar inspecciones, eléctricas, mecánicas y visuales en una variedad de materia prima de producción. Completar AQL basado en muestreo e inspección a trabajo, según sea requerido. Indicar la aceptación o rechazo del material recibido. Realizar auditorías diarias, semanales, mensuales, trimestrales y luego reportar hallazgos. Preparar hojas de datos, reporte de inspección, “hold” o rechazo, “material approved label card” y disposiciones. Entrar y verificar piezas en el sistema de monitoreo de calidad QMS. Monitorear el “rework” de piezas. Mantener buena comunicación entre áreas relacionadas. Responsable por mantener su área de trabajo limpia, en orden (housekeeping). Informar al supervisor/líder inmediatamente accidentes o condiciones inseguras de trabajo. Realizar otras tareas según sean requeridas por su supervisor.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required, Vocational or Technical Degree preferred.
Experience preferred, not required.
Completed Quality University course.
Knowledge and interpretation of blueprints.
Knowledge of measuring instruments and their use.
Manage basic computerized systems.
Possess basic communication skills in English and Spanish.
Ability to work 100% of the time standing.
Ability to handle buckets, material and/or equipment of 50 lb. or less.
Comply with established attendance and punctuality standards.
Maintain good work habits.
Comply with the rules, practices and regulations established by Quality, HSE and Human Resources.

Responsibilities

Audits and validates parts in their work area to determine the quality of daily production.
Perform electrical, mechanical, and visual inspections on a variety of production raw materials.
Complete AQL based on sampling and inspection of work as required.
Indicate acceptance or rejection of received material.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly audits and then report findings.
Prepare data sheets, inspection reports, “hold” or rejection notices, “material approved label card” and dispositions.
Enter and verify parts in the QMS quality monitoring system.
Monitor the “rework” of parts.
Maintain good communication between related areas.
Responsible for keeping your work area clean and in order (housekeeping).
Immediately report accidents or unsafe working conditions to the supervisor/leader.
Perform other tasks as required by your supervisor.
