About The Position

The Quality Auditor position involves testing and inspecting products at various stages of production processes to ensure quality and reliability. The auditor will work directly with manufacturing partners and evaluate data to maintain product standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to learn how to or operate calipers, micrometers, tape measure, hardness testers, color inspection equipment and able to read and understand drawings.
• Possesses or can obtain a valid forklift license.
• Ability to calculate figures such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to execute written, oral or diagram instructions.
• Ability to handle issues which may arise professionally.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn and understand different computer software programs.
• Auditor 2 requirements - must be able to perform work independently with minimal assistance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished goods to assure they meet specifications.
• Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet our specifications.
• Test products for dimensions, performance, mechanical, electrical or chemical characteristics.
• Perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts or product to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas.
• Interact with management/engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Record and evaluate test data per the quality control procedures.
• Evaluate daily audits performed within each department.
• Conduct standard work analysis.
