Position Summary: Ensure that all processes and products meet established quality standards. This includes conducting daily inbound and outbound quality audits across various categories to ensure compliance with quality guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to clearly communicate using the English language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with or the ability to learn SAP
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the proven ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of shipments and examine inventory for defects to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Verify proper storage, handling, and documentation of products.
  • Accurately document audit findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions in quality management systems.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments regarding quality expectations, audit results, and process improvements.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics to support operational goals.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, productivity, and quality.
  • Foster a motivated workforce through timely communication, consistency, fairness, and recognition of good work or ideas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall quality and efficiency of the distribution center.
  • All other duties as assigned
