The QA Auditor, under the direction of the Factory Hygienist, performs food safety, food defense, and compliance audits, GMP audits and associated work notification entries, line release inspections after exceptional conditions, HACCP review and update support, quality investigations, sensory team support, oversees the maintenance hold tag system, assists with developing safety and product protection plans, and performs other duties as assigned by management. The position requires in-depth knowledge of food manufacturing and auditing methodologies. This position also requires effective communication skills to work with a variety of cross-functional customers.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in food science, or related technical field, or 3 years equivalent work experience.
  • Support and comply with all Nestlé programs and policies.
  • Meet all requirements related to NQMS and ISO standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental Compliance and Occupational Health and Safety.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years' experience in a food production facility.
  • Auditing certifications (e.g. FSSC22000).

Responsibilities
