Requirements

  • High School/GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all phases of inspection and quality audits including receiving inspection, in-process inspection to final inspection.
  • Ensure conformity to blueprint, customer specific, internal procedures, as well as IATF procedures.
  • Work on the direction of plant management on projects, processes and procedures to improve cost, safety, throughput, and workplace organization.
  • Assist the organization in implementation of MAFACT, including lean, standardized work and continuous improvement activities.
  • Cost optimization by working with team members as well as suppliers and other support staff as needed.
  • Champion initiatives and lead groups to achieve goals.
  • Develop project descriptions, cost, benefits, and timing with employees on all levels.
  • Provide support for technical questions and issues and research answers.
  • Act as a liaison between maintenance, manufacturing, quality and engineering.
  • Prepare report packages and track certain metrics.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow company policy regarding conflicts of interest and the acceptance of supplier gifts.
  • Work with suppliers and submit requisitions.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Perform Layered Process Audits (LPA's).
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and submit improvement suggestions.
