About The Position

The Quality Auditor position at Jack Link's Protein Snacks involves supporting the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards. The role includes performing plant-wide auditing functions, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining documentation in accordance with company policies. This entry-level position is essential for maintaining the quality and safety of products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge and experience in Quality Systems, production, and warehouse operations.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of quality control procedures.
• Ability to calibrate delicate instruments and take accurate readings.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties within OSHA and company safety standards; maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and leaders, keeping them informed of any issues during the shift.
• Follow good manufacturing practices and company SOPs, ensuring compliance among team members.
• Perform pre-operational checks and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Record deviations and issues into compliance tracker and inform supervisors.
• Conduct quality inspections on products and enter data into electronic forms or handwritten forms.
• Implement corrective actions for any deviations found during quality inspections.
