Requirements

Familiar with Microsoft products with the ability to learn new systems/software applications quickly.
HS Diploma or equivalent required.
1+ Production/Q A experience
Safety Awareness - Follow all safety laws, policies, and procedures. Immediately report safety concerns to supervisor. Attend, and successfully complete, when applicable, all required safety training.
Quality Awareness - Comply with the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Food Safety and Quality Food Programs (SQF).

Nice To Haves

Meat experience and ability to recognize different meat products

Responsibilities

Monitoring of facilities, equipment, work operations, and personnel
Perform visual monitoring of raw materials, to ensure product meets specifications (quality, weight, etc.)
Perform monitoring and testing of manufacturing processes involving metal detection, injection, packaging, and/or antimicrobial interventions.
Monitor compliance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Good Warehouse Practices (GWPs)
Interact with manufacturing or distribution management as first point of contact for food safety/quality issues
Comply with all workplace safety, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Program, and facility policy requirements.
Comply with the Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Warehouse Practices, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, and food safety/quality management system standards.
Accurately and completely document the results of required monitoring and testing activities
Regular, timely attendance to meet company and customer needs
Perform special projects or activities as assigned by FSQA management.
