Requirements

  • Familiar with Microsoft products with the ability to learn new systems/software applications quickly.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ Production/Q A experience
  • Safety Awareness - Follow all safety laws, policies, and procedures. Immediately report safety concerns to supervisor.  Attend, and successfully complete, when applicable, all required safety training.
  • Quality Awareness - Comply with the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Food Safety and Quality Food Programs (SQF).

Nice To Haves

  • Meat experience and ability to recognize different meat products

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of facilities, equipment, work operations, and personnel
  • Perform visual monitoring of raw materials, to ensure product meets specifications (quality,  weight, etc.)
  • Perform monitoring and testing of manufacturing processes involving metal detection, injection, packaging, and/or antimicrobial interventions.
  • Monitor compliance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Good Warehouse Practices (GWPs)
  • Interact with manufacturing or distribution management as first point of contact for food safety/quality issues
  • Comply with all workplace safety, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Program, and facility policy requirements.
  • Comply with  the Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Warehouse Practices, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, and food safety/quality management system standards.
  • Accurately and completely document the results of required monitoring and testing activities
  • Regular, timely attendance to meet company and customer needs
  • Perform special projects or activities as assigned by FSQA management.
