As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our food products. You will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control measures to maintain our high standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver exceptional products to our customers. Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards as well as HAACP compliance and other food safety and workplace safety initiatives Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations. Identify, document, and report any deviations from quality standards and work with production teams to implement corrective actions. Assist with weekly pre-operation checks and ATP verification swabbing Assist with environmental sampling (water, air, product, equipment, etc) Implement hold procedures in response to quality deviations or food safety risks STOP production if our quality standards are not met Communicate findings to key personnel to correct any system problems, throughput or quality issues to ensure all products produced meet established quality requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and improve processes. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures. Participate in internal and external audits and inspections. Perform housekeeping throughout work area Utilize Lockout/Tagout when tasks require Perform additional duties as needed
