About The Position

Revolution is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for the night shift at its Kilgore, TX facility. This is a 12 hour rotating shift schedule from 7:00 pm - 7:00 am. This position will work closely with production lines to ensure the facility meets quality standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• 2 year college degree preferred
• 1 - 2 years of Quality experience in an industrial environment preferred
• Necessary math skills - Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports
• Must be able to read and write
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred
• Periodically lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Must be able to stand and walk for 8-12 hours
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must be able to spot defects that could occur in each department
• Must be able to write neatly and legibly
• Must be able to distinguish between slight color variations
• Able to read, understand and verify all information on spec sheets
• Must be detail-oriented and possess a pride of workmanship
• Demonstrate basic math skills
• Must have adequate computer skills…Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Capable of working without supervision
• Capable of interaction with management and peers

Responsibilities

• Inspect product to verify compliance with known specifications (all departments)
• Correctly input data into computer system
• Interpret test data as pass or fail
• Handle quality issues with peers and departmental supervision during shift
• Be proactive in addressing quality issues and provide feedback in a timely manner
• Assure that raw materials are within tolerance
• Write and place non-conforming material on hold
• Perform Layered Process Audits throughout the plant
• Perform measurement studies
• Write/update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Find Continuous Improvement Ideas in the plant
• Effectively communicate with department Managers, Supervisors and Leads
