About The Position

The purpose of this job is to improve the assembly line reject rate through part and process investigation while collaborating with all engineering teams. The role also involves delegating and overseeing the work of quality auditors.

Requirements

• Must have High School Diploma/GED or above
• Knowledge of REPS assembly processes, quality requirements, and techniques for maximizing effective assembly of REPS products
• Knowledge of all lines
• Quality experience minimum of 1 year with in-depth understanding of key characteristics of each line

Nice To Haves

• Reading comprehension and math/analytical skills
• Proficient in computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point, e-mail, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Daily checks of line rejects
• Daily investigation support to tear down area
• Support engineering investigation as requested
• Support special improvement projects as requested
• Support production with parts that are in vicinity of lines to ensure they are correctly dispositioned and tagged (scrap, Quality Market, shipping, rework)
• Provide timely feedback on issues before parts leave the line
• Provide daily electronic report of activity
• Label bins if parts do not meet quality standards
• Provide timely feedback to production and the work center immediately for correction
• Ensure that bins have the correct labels and part certifications
• Create awareness of parts on production floor that are not labeled, or properly dispositioned
• Provide support and feedback to production
