About The Position

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to control plans and work instructions. Document inspection results and maintain accurate inspection records. Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material following established procedures. Perform first-piece inspections at the start of production runs or when setting up new tooling. Operate specialized equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc. Calibrate or verify the calibration status of inspection equipment before use. Communicate quality issues to team leaders, supervisors, or engineering promptly. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality or process reliability. Follow all safety policies, including proper PPE usage and safe handling of materials. Maintain cleanliness and organization in inspection areas (5S practices).

Requirements

  • Strong work performance and attention to detail.
  • Good attendance and reliable work habits.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, control plans, and basic technical documents.
  • Basic math and measurement skills; ability to use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to identify nonconformance and follow appropriate escalation procedures.
  • Good communication skills for reporting issues to supervisors, team leaders, and production staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks as required by the inspection process.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
