QualificationsROLE SUMMARY The 2nd Shift (4pm - 1am) Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the QA Specialists and COA Technicians. The Supervisor will assist in developing, training, enforcing, and monitoring food safety and quality programs to ensure GNC delivers safe, quality products that post no risk to consumers. This position will report on quality related issues and will be engaged in customer and 3rd party audits and visits. The role will also facilitate and monitor plant QA policies/procedures while utilizing risk assessments and CAPAs to help solve any production issues that may arise. Lead the implementation, integration, and monitoring of the SQF standards across the organization, from raw material receiving through order fulfillment. Ensure all documentation, records and verification activities are accurate, organized and meet regulatory and audit expectations. Responsible for reporting food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
