The position involves working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and Category Directors to define and implement quality control programs and strategies for the company's operations. The role requires collaboration with various teams, including Category Directors, Grower Relations Managers, and field and facility team members, to investigate, document, and resolve quality issues. The individual will evaluate current quality control processes and develop plans to eliminate gaps or implement new processes as necessary. Additionally, the role serves as a key communication link between sales and field operations regarding product quality and condition, proactively engaging with both teams to handle quality issues and manage inventory efficiently. Responsibilities also include ensuring that the quality and packaging of finished products meet HGOF specifications, generating detailed reports on product quality and condition, and assisting in the implementation of HGOF’s Food Safety Program.
