About The Position

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products and services at the site level. This position involves supporting quality assurance activities, maintaining quality systems, and acting as a liaison for quality-related issues. The specialist will work closely with various stakeholders to implement effective solutions that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Certification related to quality control (RAC, Six-Sigma, etc.) is preferred.
  • Project management and logistics industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and coordination of quality assurance activities at the site level.
  • Act as a quality assurance customer contact for the site.
  • Assist with the maintenance and continuous improvement of the overall quality system.
  • Support ISO registration and other compliance activities.
  • Analyze information and product specifications for regulatory compliance.
  • Provide support during regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Track, monitor, and report quality assurance metrics for the site.
  • Monitor training and development of site associates for compliance.
  • Partner with QA management to develop and maintain management reports.
  • Read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
  • Ensure customer service and business standards are met daily.
  • Plan and conduct inspection processes on a daily basis.
