As a QA Specialist and Procedure Writer, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality assurance standards of Prime Controls. This includes drafting, revising, and maintaining comprehensive procedural documentation to align with industry standards and internal compliance requirements. Success in this role requires attention to detail, exceptional technical writing skills, and a deep understanding of QA processes and workflows.

  • Draft, revise, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions in alignment with organizational and industry standards.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with established QA standards and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Partner with project teams and departments to gather input and insights for accurate and practical procedure development.
  • Develop training guides and resources for employees to ensure adherence to established procedures and standards.
  • Maintain and organize procedural documents within the company's document management system to ensure accessibility and version control.
  • Monitor regulatory and industry changes to ensure procedures remain up-to-date and compliant.
  • Identify gaps in current workflows and recommend improvements to optimize quality and efficiency.
  • Compile and present QA findings and procedural updates to senior management.
  • Conduct internal departmental audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards and perform select vendor audits to evaluate supplier adherence to Prime Controls' quality expectations and industry standards.
  • Assist in departmental initiatives as assigned by the Corporate Quality Manager.
  • Exceptional ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documents.
  • Ability to collect and interpret data to inform procedural improvements.
  • Develop innovative solutions to streamline QA processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams.
  • Consistently produces high-quality work with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Prioritizes tasks efficiently and maintains organized documentation.
  • Embraces and implements change to improve processes and address challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, technical writing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or procedure writing.
  • Familiarity with document management systems and QA software tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
