About The Position
Nordfab introduced Quick-Fit® clamp-together ductwork in 1990. As well as being the originator, Nordfab is the industry leader, and one of the globally leading suppliers through our presence in Europe, the Americas, and Asia of industrial ducting for dust, mist, fume and smoke collection. Nordfab is hiring 1st Shift Quality Assurance Specialisthours are 6:45am – 3:15pm This person’s primary responsibility will be assuring that products meet internal quality standards and assist in maintaining/auditing the Quality & Environmental Standards.
Requirements
- Must have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have Good Attendance.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must be adept in Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, i.e. blueprints.
- Must be organized and be able to Multi-task.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is a Plus.
Responsibilities
- assuring that products meet internal quality standards
- assist in maintaining/auditing the Quality & Environmental Standards
- measuring a variety of fabricated parts with tolerances of +/- 1/8”
- initiate corrective actions
- work closely with Production and Purchasing to resolve quality issues
