Quality Assurance Specialist

Allegiance IndustriesIndianapolis, IN

About The Position

We’re looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented QA Specialist to measure, document and report our team’s performance at a premier manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. In this role, you won’t just be “inspecting” – you’ll be the final word on facility readiness, ensuring sanitation and tidiness levels meet the rigorous demands of a heavy industrial environment. Using advanced inspection software, you will be responsible for auditing various zones, identifying trends in your reports and building effective communication documents that provide a genuine, accurate portrayal of our team’s performance. ______________________________________________

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior experience in quality control, janitorial supervision or industrial inspection
  • Ability to walk/stand for long periods within a large-scale manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Excellence in this role requires a foundation of a “black-and-white” mindset in a world of grey areas.
  • Unwavering Integrity: You will report to the division manager, not the site manager. While you’ll be among colleagues, your primary loyalty is to the standard. You must be able to fail an inspection for a friend just as easily as you would for a stranger.
  • Consistency: An “8” on a Monday must mean the same thing as an “8” on a Wednesday. You possess the mental stamina to apply the same rigor to the 100th inspection of the week as you did the first.
  • Tech-Savviness: Comfortable navigating mobile auditing software and basic data reporting tools. For instance, if a client would like to know our average score cleaning factory floors in a specific area during a specific time range, you should be able to provide this within the hour without asking for help. You should also be able to build visual effect-rich presentation content shared in a PowerPoint presentation.
  • Industrial Awareness: Quality control experience in professional cleaning is a plus, but QC in general (other industries) is also fine. If that’s the case, you’ll also need to be able to learn the specific cleanliness requirements of a manufacturing plant, where dust/debris can often be overlooked and how a concrete production floor should look after our team has cleaned it per scope of work requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Systematic Auditing: Conduct daily walkthroughs using handheld inspection software to grade cleanliness, safety and orderliness.
  • Data Integrity: Record precise, real-time data and upload photographic evidence of deficiencies or “gold standard” completions.
  • Standardization: Apply a uniform scoring rubric across all shifts and areas to ensure data reflects the true state of the facility.
  • Reporting: Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports for facility management, highlighting trends and recurring failure points.
  • Collaboration: Communicate necessary “re-cleans” or urgent issues to operations leadership to assign to frontline cleaning crew.
