In this engaging role, the Quality Assurance Specialist champions Papa Murphy's commitment to quality, service, integrity, and teamwork by: - Documenting data system requirements, including the creation of process flow diagrams, use cases, control points, and current/future state diagrams as needed. - Supporting business users, company governance, and compliance efforts. - Performing Quality Assurance Testing on IT solutions. - Ensuring data is consistent, accurate, usable, understandable, actionable, and effectively presented and/or communicated. - Facilitating projects to ensure useful and accurate data identification, categorization, and definitions that enable metric creation. - Managing Digital Services ticket queue and escalate to Sr. Digital Services Manager as needed. - Learning to configure and map menu updates and changes between dependent systems (POS, Catering, Online Ordering Platform) without negative impact to online ordering sales. - Ensuring software system efficiency; provides level one and on-call (while stores are open) end user support to research, diagnose, resolve, and document issues for customer-facing digital platforms (3rd Party Delivery, Catering, Online Order, Website, etc.) - Assisting with coordinating campaign promotions or coupons to guarantee that relevant systems (POS, Online Order, Catering, etc.) are configured to ensure efficiency and ease of use for end users.

Requirements

  • A desire and drive to understand and improve the quality of our data systems.
  • Abilities in investigating discrepancies, capturing, and maintaining data in an information management system or complex databases.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, writing use cases and technical specifications documents.
  • Effective communication skills, task management skills, and ability to discuss tactical/strategic issues at all levels across the organization.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage multiple projects, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in system maintenance and/or advanced computer skills -- Microsoft Office applications, internet, operating systems, email management, ticketing systems, etc.
  • Excels at interacting with a diverse group of people (internally and externally) and all levels of management.
  • Ability to address problems/issues as they arise in a professional and productive manner.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple deadlines and work with needs of various functions/departments.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and effectively prioritize.
  • Minimum 2 years related industry experience (technology, restaurant, or consumer packaged goods industry).
  • Prior experience with QA testing required.

  • Salary range: $60,000-$70,000. Actual offer may vary from posted hiring range based on location, work experience, and/or education.
