The USC Family Caregiver Support Center/LACRC provides a full range of clinical services to include assessment of family caregivers to older adults with multiple medical impairments or cognitive impairments including case management, short-term treatment, referral, crisis intervention, and psycho-educational training. Our program is rapidly growing, and we need a superstar to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time salaried position that will require substantial commitment and flexibility. The work schedule varies from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with some evening and weekend work as needed. The office location will be off University Park Campus, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work schedule. This Quality Assurance Specialist will assist the Associate Director of Clinical & Outreach Administration with audit functions for the center to ensure operations are in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures. The Quality Assurance Specialist will conduct routine audits to ensure client cases are meeting contract compliance. The Specialist with ensure our team meets contract goals and our Center’s mission for family caregiver support and services. Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Performs independent quality assurance reviews covering documentation, training, and processes. Develops and maintains quality management system (QMS). Supports the development, implementation, and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to evaluate effectiveness of existing programs. Identifies and assesses quality assurance problems and confers with management for action. Makes recommendations through detailed status reports. Maintains appropriate logs or databases of various conditions on a regular basis. Performs general administrative duties (e.g., schedules audits, requests records and documentation) as needed. Communicates with various groups or staff to exchange information regarding compliance matters and address and/or escalate any issues to Associate Director. Reviews weekly/monthly work activity and provide data summary. Assists in development of training materials. Participates in developing and updating training and procedural documentation. Our ideal candidate must have a proven ability to lead by example, should demonstrate strong leadership skills and exemplary performance. This position is funded by a research grant. Accordingly, this position is contingent upon receipt of the necessary funding from this or any subsequent grant to continue employment.
