About The Position

The Quality Assurance & Regulatory Manager is responsible for leading corporate-level quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance programs across TFSI and its co-manufacturing partners. This role ensures compliance with FDA, GFSI, and customer requirements while driving continuous improvement in product quality and risk management. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep regulatory expertise, strong audit experience, and a proven ability to build high-performing quality teams.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the food industry
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in food regulatory compliance and quality systems
  • GMP, HACCP, and allergen management
  • FSVP compliance
  • Audit readiness and certification maintenance
  • Documentation and traceability systems
  • Recall and crisis response management
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Walk throughout office, laboratory, and production environments
  • Occasionally lift up to 25–30 lbs.
  • Perform visual inspections and organoleptic evaluations
  • Operate office and laboratory equipment
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage company-wide quality, food safety, and regulatory programs
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CFR requirements, and customer standards
  • Oversee Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) activities and documentation
  • Maintain GFSI certifications (BRC Agents & Brokers, BRC Storage & Distribution, etc.)
  • Lead internal and external audits and manage corrective action programs (CAPA)
  • Serve as subject matter expert for regulatory inquiries and customer communications
  • Oversee supplier and ingredient approval, risk assessments, and fraud vulnerability analyses
  • Partner with Procurement to manage supplier performance programs
  • Lead recall, crisis management, and food defense initiatives
  • Conduct management reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain shelf-life testing programs
  • Oversee document control systems and Quality Manual updates
  • Provide regulatory input during product development and approval
  • Supervise and develop quality and regulatory team members
