About The Position

NOW HIRING: Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector Location: Chicago, IL – Metal Finishing – Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Key Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector: Perform detailed inspections of intricate parts visually (with and without magnification) and through measurement techniques using equipment such as x-ray fluorescence units and toolmaker’s microscopes. Conduct endpoint requirement testing including solderability, adhesion, and environmental tests. Follow instructions on Plating Specification Sheets to ensure materials are wound correctly on reels according to customer requirements. Interpret visual blueprints and written instructions to verify product quality. Maintain accurate inspection records in company systems and communicate findings to production teams. What You Bring as the Quality Inspector: High school diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years of quality inspection, manufacturing, or related experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret blueprints. Solid computer skills for data entry and reporting. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
