About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years of related operations or auditing experience, including 1 year as a team lead or supervisor, or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, decision-making, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
  • Strong business math skills with the ability to use complex mathematical or statistical concepts.
  • Knowledge of related operations processing support systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staff responsible for quality control activities to ensure accurate and timely data in assessing operations performance.
  • Initiate and provide direction for quality improvement initiatives and training.
  • Develop auditing protocols and facilitate corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Prepare reports and analyze quality data to assess impact on the organization.
  • Assist with special review or focus auditing as requested by management.
  • Monitor reports, quality processes, resources, and improvement plans to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Interview, hire, and maintain adequate staff to meet business requirements.
  • Manage staff performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Provide management oversight and assistance to staff with questions or problems.
  • Handle employee/human resource issues and disciplinary actions professionally.
  • Collaborate with training areas to develop training initiatives based on quality performance data and error trends.
  • Initiate and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and monitor departmental budget.
  • Manage project management activities including schedules, cost estimates, and project reporting.
  • Assist in developing quality assurance plans for new business contracts and proposals.
  • Create and deliver quality assurance presentations for various audiences.
