The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the laboratory Quality System in accordance with Eurofins Built Environment Testing standards. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and client-specific requirements, while promoting the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct across laboratory operations. The QA Manager oversees quality assurance activities across one or more laboratory sites (up to four), including maintaining certifications and accreditations (NVLAP, AIHA, NELAC), approving and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and generating monthly QA reports. The QA Manager monitors quality trends, leads root cause analyses, and implements corrective and preventive actions to resolve nonconformances and drive process improvement. Acting independently from day-to-day laboratory operations, the QA Manager is a trusted resource for resolving data quality and ethical issues. The role also includes conducting internal and external audits, managing training documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting management in formal reviews of the Quality System. The QA Manager is required to be onsite at their designated home laboratory a minimum of two days per week and must travel quarterly to all assigned laboratory locations.
