About The Position

The Quality Assurance Manager – Continuous Improvement drives quality excellence and operational efficiency across Bob’s quality organization. This role blends quality leadership with continuous improvement expertise to enhance product quality, streamline processes, and strengthen supplier and operational performance across the supply chain. The role partners cross-functionally and leverages data, analytics, and technology to support a culture of continuous improvement. Based out of Bob’s Home Office or Distribution Center in Taftville. This role may require occasional domestic and international travel to supplier sites, manufacturing facilities, trade shows, and distribution centers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards and quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quality standards, policies, and procedures to meet internal and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee inspection and testing processes for raw materials, components, and finished goods
  • Partner with product development, sourcing, and vendors to ensure quality standards are met
  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to reduce defects and improve efficiency
  • Analyze quality data, establish KPIs, and implement corrective actions
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to eliminate waste and optimize workflows
  • Conduct internal and external quality audits
  • Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, identifying root causes and preventive solutions
  • Partner with sourcing, logistics, compliance, merchandising, and suppliers to align quality objectives
  • Lead Quarterly Quality Reviews with vendors and provide performance feedback
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports, improvement initiatives, and cost-savings outcomes
  • Identify and implement QA technology solutions to improve efficiency and data accuracy
  • Partner with IT and product teams to support automated testing, monitoring, and analytics tools
