The Quality Assurance Manager (Constructability Review Program) at Flintco, LLC is a pivotal role that oversees the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the company's internal constructability review program. This position can be based out of any Flintco office location and is responsible for engaging with internal business partners and Construction Support Services personnel to conduct technical reviews of design deliverables and construction documentation. The Quality Assurance Manager will manage the tools and technologies applied in the constructability review process and may also supervise Quality Engineers. In this role, the manager will develop and enhance all aspects of Flintco's Quality Program as it pertains to design constructability. This includes managing processes, application criteria, and business rules for conducting design constructability reviews across the project portfolio. The manager will coordinate in-house reviews of project-level plans and specifications at critical design junctures, identifying errors, omissions, inconsistencies, and ambiguities to minimize downstream RFIs and change orders. The findings from these reviews will be presented transparently to Flintco's Preconstruction and Operations teams, ensuring that potential constructability issues are tracked to resolution. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Manager will provide guidance and training on trends and issues identified during the design review process to prevent recurrence across the company's locations. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural and engineering design review processes, as well as the ability to assess project biddability, buildability, operability, maintainability, and sustainability across various building markets and scopes. The manager will spend approximately 80% of their time directly supporting Flintco Operations projects and 20% on developing and maintaining the Flintco Quality program and personnel development initiatives.
