About The Position

The J.R. Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. Summary Works with the Quality Assurance team on assigned projects and other daily tasks.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Food/Food Science Major from 4 year college or university

Responsibilities

• Assists in data analysis of projects.
• Assists as needed on the production floor and in the lab to gather data, work on projects, and other tasks as needed.
• Participate in daily management meetings.
• Support food safety and product quality by learning about sanitation, environmental monitoring, foreign material monitoring, and quality attribute grading.
