This awesome QA is knowledgeable, they pride themselves in their safety mindset, quality and leadership abilities. Requirements
- Must have H.S. Diploma/GED
- Must have minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing Quality Assurance related field
- Must have a good attendance record
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports or correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-to-one or small group situations with other employees of the organization.
- Good computer skills: Microsoft Office, ERP and inspection programs.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of experience in print production and/or quality
- Experience in injecting plastic molding a plus
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
Responsibilities
- Collect shots and samples from the production floor.
- Makes decisions on print quality issues and works closely with Shift Supervisor and Technical leads to resolve.
- Performs variable inspections that provide metrology data such as color, clarity, or opacity.
- Performs attribute inspections comparing them to established standards that note the presence or absence of a physical, visual, or functional characteristic or defect.
- Responsible for creating a visual reference guide per customer requirements.
- Responsible for various inspections and testing duties.
- Maintains quality records and standard books in an orderly manner.
- Inspector places materials on hold as needed, determines materials to be scrapped, and may stop a process partially or in whole based on company and customer requirements.
