Quality Assurance Inspector 2nd shift (4:00pm-1:30am)
About The Position
This position will require access to ITAR and/or EAR controlled technical data, technology or source code, and requires that all individuals in this role be authorized to access such information General Description: The Quality Assurance Inspector reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. The Quality Assurance Inspector is required to review products for compliance to drawing and specification requirements throughout the manufacturing operation. This position requires a strong attention to detail and good organizational skills. Visual acuity equivalent to Jaeger 1 and 20/40 minimum vision, corrected or uncorrected, is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in quality assurance or inspection preferred (preferably in an aerospace environment is a plus)
- Proficiency with standard measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Technical drawing and document interpretation skills required
- Basic computer skills are required
- Visual acuity equivalent to Jaeger 1 and 20/40 minimum vision, corrected or uncorrected, is required

Responsibilities
- Perform visual, dimensional, and 1 st article inspections on rubber and composite components
- Generate and assemble document packages for shipment of product
- Monitor calibration cycles of process and test equipment
- Maintain clean and organized work area and files
- Control and maintain inspection supplies
- Support quality assurance functions throughout the facility
- Inspect molded product to blueprint and specification requirements
- Inspect sub-assembly and piece part components
- Request, review, generate and approve certifications for components to specification requirements
- Generate necessary data packages to customer requirements
- Review test equipment for necessary service and validation intervals
- Keep orderly and organized records and reference specifications
- Perform 1 st article and PLT inspections
- Perform inspections in other departments when applicable
- Work requested overtime as necessary to support Operations
- Support Customer Source Inspections through interaction with Customer representative including answering questions and providing documentation.
