This role is responsible for performing a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tests on electronic systems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure, using electronic test instruments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including but not limited to Quality Systems Regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes). Part Inspection and Testing Core Responsibility Perform visual, mechanical, or electrical inspections on parts, components, and assemblies Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings Administer quality check by connecting electronic assemblies, components, or parts to appropriate test instrument Verify dimensions of parts, using standard gauges Perform inspections at all stages of the assembly process, at component receipt, in-process, and final inspection Documentation Review Core Responsibility Assist in cleaning up or completing any production or quality documentation Record and log inspection data Assist with documentation control within the Quality department Close and file job/traveler packets Safety and Cleanliness Core Responsibility Adhere to all safety regulations Identify and report any safety concerns Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning workstation and plant areas as assigned Performs other job duties and/or projects to meet business needs.
