About The Position

As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will help ensure that only well tested software is presented to House Rx’s clients. This role will require collaboration between engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to help deliver sustainable software solutions. This role will periodically engage with the support team and assist with triaging client facing issues in production as you build a technical understanding of our products.

Requirements

3 years experience in QA Engineering or test-driven development
Experience with Jest, Playwright, or another modern test framework
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS
Able to write intermediate SQL queries to triage data-related incidents
Experience in incident management
Experience with app monitoring tools such as Sentry, Grafana, etc
An awareness that we succeed and fail together.

Responsibilities

Write high quality unit, integration, and data assertion tests to enforce code quality for our services.
Hold developers accountable for test coverage and create/propagate testing best practices
Form a strong understanding of our data sets and enforce a high-level of data quality and integrity.
Own the QA responsibilities for projects from kick-off through release ensuring high quality features are delivered to clients
Partner with product managers to define test criteria for new application features.
Generate/execute test plans based on product and design specifications
Implement end to end browser tests to ensure long term test coverage of new and existing features
Assist with monitoring the performance and health of our systems
