Job Title Quality Assurance Engineer What does a successful Quality Assurance Engineer do at Fiserv? A successful Quality Assurance Engineer at Fiserv will ensure software products meet high standards of quality and performance by shaping and improving QA processes and frameworks. You will partner closely with development and product teams to test solutions, identify issues, and drive defects through resolution to support reliable client-ready releases. You will implement and promote QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen product quality and the overall user experience.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software quality assurance experience (or 6+ years of an equivalent combination of education, related experience, and/or military experience).
• 3+ years of both automation testing experience and performance testing experience.
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile methodologies.
• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or 6+ years of an equivalent combination of education, related experience, and/or military experience).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with automated testing tools and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with security testing practices and understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC).
• Certification in software testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of detailed QA testing for complex software products, ensuring end-to-end coverage and clear, repeatable results.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans aligned to product requirements and delivery timelines.
• Identify, document, report, and track defects through resolution, including verification of fixes and regression testing as needed.
• Partner with development and product teams to improve quality practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA function.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers to ensure adherence to best practices; duties may be modified as business needs evolve.
