About The Position

The QA Engineer is primarily responsible for performing both manual and automated test execution, meticulous defect identification, and detailed reporting to validate product functionality, reliability, and security compliance within the standard software development lifecycle. This role requires a thorough understanding of QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• US Citezen or ability to work on FAR subpart 25.4 work
• Experience in software development or software quality assurance.
• Thorough understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
• Experience with black box and white box testing techniques.
• Basic proficiency with databases and database query languages.
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles and security testing methodologies.
• Soft skills including problem solving, communication, attention to detail, and critical thinking

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for new and existing software products.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to identify bugs or defects, ensuring products meet security standards and comply with industry regulations.
• Identify, document, and meticulously track software defects, providing clear and reproducible steps for developers.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to understand system requirements and contribute feedback on testability and design.
• Maintain and run basic automation scripts utilizing established frameworks.
