Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence seeks a Acceptance Testing Engineer to ensure the quality of our global Public Safety software, including the HxGN OnCall application suite. This suite provides web-based solutions for call-taking, dispatch, situational awareness, records management, mobile operations, and analytics. Experience in the Public Safety domain is highly valued. Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or a proven related technical discipline. Equivalent work experience may be accepted.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in manual software quality assurance testing is required.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies.
• The ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Self-motivated, independent, and effective team contributor
• Ability to step up in a fast-paced environment and be accountable.
• Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communications skills
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
• Willingness to learn new technologies and enhance skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a Public Safety Communications Center is highly desirable
• Basic knowledge of browser development tools
• Experience in Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, and PaaS & SaaS
• Familiar with Agile Scrum Methodology
• Applied knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio and SQL scripting
• Experience with Playwright automated testing tools

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, plan, and coordinate QA testing activities.
• Review requirements, specifications, and functional design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs.
• Collaboration with internal teams (e.g., developers & product managers) to identify testing requirements.
• Review logs using debugging process results.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a Windows 11 environment, leveraging Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to support quality assurance workflows, including documentation, defect tracking, data analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with system navigation, file management, and integration of Office tools with QA platforms such as Azure DevOps is preferred
