Quality Assurance Engineer, Sr.

Centrus GlobalGreenville, SC

About The Position

At Centrus Energy, quality isn’t just a checkbox—it’s the backbone of our mission. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer ready to step into a high-visibility, three-year "tour of duty" in Greenville, SC, but the tour won’t stop there. This “tour of duty” will take you to some fabulous locations around Los Angeles, Denver, and Oak Ridge. Think of this as your professional launchpad: you’ll be our eyes and ears on the ground, ensuring the American Centrifuge Operating, LLC, contractors hit every mark of excellence. This isn't just a job; it's a strategic developmental assignment. Once you’ve mastered the oversight of this critical project in South Carolina, you’ll bring that elite expertise back to your home base in Piketon, OH or Oak Ridge, TN , where a guaranteed leadership-track role will be waiting for your return in 2029. As our quality champion in Greenville, you’ll be an integral part of the oversight of the Fluor contract, ensuring every bolt, blueprint, and process meets the rigorous standards of the NRC, DOE, and our own QAPD. You’ll be the lead detective in internal and external audits, a mentor to onsite teams, and a strategic partner to Field Operations. From evaluating supplier quality to driving corrective actions and maintaining bulletproof QA records, you will ensure a safety-first, compliance-driven culture. While you'll be stationed in the Palmetto State, you’ll stay tethered to your home base through regular operational syncs, ensuring you’re ready to hit the ground running when you transition back to Ohio or Tennessee after your three-year victory lap.
