Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer III to lead the testing of large-scale web applications. The role involves creating comprehensive test plans and test cases, driving continuous improvements to quality assurance processes using modern web technologies such as HTTP, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and cloud services. The engineer will develop and maintain automated tests for web user interfaces using industry-standard frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright. Responsibilities include implementing test scripts in languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java, designing and executing both manual and automated test cases, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. The position requires collaboration with developers, UX designers, product owners, and customer service professionals throughout the development and testing lifecycle. The engineer will also consult on technical issues, manage test data, provide project status reports, and participate in code reviews.

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience.
  • One year of experience in using QA methodology and tools.
  • One year of experience in manual testing.
  • One year of experience in automation testing.
  • Experience in delivering test frameworks, test tools, leading QA projects and initiatives.
