About The Position

The Quality Assurance Clinical Coordinator is responsible for supporting Community Paramedicine program operations through clinical quality oversight, data collection and analysis, and system coordination. This role ensures high standards of care, supports continuous quality improvement, and strengthens community trust and stakeholder confidence in the safety and effectiveness of the program. The position collaborates with EMS providers, behavioral health partners, medical direction, and community stakeholders to organize program data, evaluate outcomes, and support integrated care delivery. It also assists in facilitating provider relationships and contracts that expand program capabilities.

Requirements

  • Experience in EMS, Community Paramedicine, or healthcare quality improvement.
  • Strong organizational, data analysis, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a rural environment.
  • Compliance training
  • BHA / Behavioral Health training requirements
  • Telehealth-related training
  • CFR waiver credentialing
  • Any MIH/CP program-specific training for licensing, contracts, or operations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with QA/QI programs or clinical review processes.
  • Familiarity with EMS systems and behavioral health integration.
  • Experience with Julota, ESO, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze program data to evaluate clinical outcomes and system performance.
  • Support development and monitoring of QA/QI processes.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify trends and gaps; provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support reporting requirements for grants and stakeholders.
  • Utilize Julota, ESO, or other systems for documentation and tracking.
  • Participate in Quality Management Committee (QMC) activities.
  • Serve as liaison between Community Paramedicine, behavioral health, and healthcare systems.
  • Support integration of behavioral health and medical services.
  • Assist in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with EMS leadership and medical direction to work in unison as one operation
  • Provide crisis intervention support as a secondary responder or in coordination with licensed providers, as appropriate.
  • Engage in activities that support development and maintenance of provider partnerships and contracts to expand Community Paramedicine services.
